Intro letter

Physical education overview

Dear Parents and Students,

Exciting adventures are about to face us.  I am eager to work with the students of Hall Memorial School.  I am writing to give you some information that will help us to succeed with the challenges we will have in physical education and health. My focus is to help children develop greater strength of character, mind, and body as active learners.  We will follow a planned sequence of meaningful learning experiences that enables students to experience and enjoy physical activities throughout their lifetime.  The class environment will be a safe place where all students will be able to develop strength of character, mind, and body.   I love creating a learning environment where students are learning about a wide variety of topics while enjoying being physically active. I do a lot of physical education enhancement programs. I hope that we can work together on some of these truly special programs. Please help your child to be prepared for physical education by reviewing this letter with them and reminding him/her to wear sneakers on days that he/she has physical education. Listed below is my e-mail and phone number. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do to help. I am looking forward to developing a strong relationship between myself and the families of C.E.S. Willington PTA 5k & Fun Runs will be on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

Goals:

1) Develop strength of character, mind and body.

2) Students will demonstrate competency and understanding motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.
3)Student will participate regularly in physical activity.
